The Manchester Arena in Manchester, England will finally be reopened to the public on September 9, 2017 and house a variety of different names of music. After the bombing that happened there on May 22, 2017, Manchester Arena was out of order for some time. Now the arena is open again and will host many events in honor of the hundreds of lives that were influenced by the event.
Some of the artists performing at Manchester Arena are Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Counteeners, and Rick Astley. Not only that, but there will be a pre show DJ performance by Clint Boon. There will also be performers like Blossoms, Pixie Lott, Louisa Johnson, and Manchester grime artist Bugzy Malone that will also be performing.
James Allen, General Manager of Manchester Arena, said May’s events will never be forgotten, but they will not stop us – or Mancunian music fans –
from coming together to enjoy live music. Manchester Arena has celebrated over 20 years hosting some of the greatest musical talent of all time, and the
significant economic and cultural impact that this has on the city means that this legacy must continue.
